After reading the various comments from you very learned folk, I thought I'd change our e-gold passphrase numbers to more complicated ones.
To my horror and amazement the SRK feature which I use all of the time even if it is clumsy, (a very small price for added security,) didn't function on changing the passphrase. It did in the first field but in the confirmation field it simply added new characters into the first field, which would have made the passphrase incorrect. So as a consequence I had to use the keyboard in order to alter the passphrase, which now makes me more nervous as my added security in using the SRK has been blown. If any tech on e-gold can comment on this is it an error and or has been overlooked? Luckily I see no attempts to obtain unauthorized access, although we can never let our guard down for one second, sadly.
