I've posted here before on that piece of S/W in short
it is very useful.

The open source version will be available here at sourceforge,
http://sourceforge.net/projects/passwordsafe/

One benefit of the current Windows version is it does not require
any installation or other files so you can run it off of a floppy
on any computer. Another benefit is you do not have to type in your
password, you just double click on a menu item and your password for
that item is placed into the clipboard where you can then paste it
into the entry box. (You still have to type in the PasswordSafe master
password initially).

Backup your files and don't forget your master password!
