Steven, I think the simplest idea and the "normal" "KISS" approach in the marketing/retail world would simply be for e-gold to pay WalMart a "shelf space" fee to accept e-gold. For as little as a few million bucks they could have e-gold put "in" at WalMart. (This appears to not be e-gold's style though, they prefer to let it grow organically...and fair enough, it's their company.) (2) Other than that the only hope would be a sort of guerilla-advertising campaign of contacting key execs at WalMart and making them learn about e-gold. (3) Other than that WalMart are definitely a listening caring institution...conceivably if the right person (I would suggest a senior citizen) simply had a chat to their local Wal manager, it could conceivably filter up. You've gotta love Sam Walton. On a recent "rich person" list, Gates was of course #1. But wait a minute .. of the next like ten people, about 6 of them were Sam Walton's heirs! All with comparable but slightly less wealth than Gates. Impressive. Sam Walton - perhaps the greatest of all American "systems innovators", greater than Ford and the rest. jp --- You are currently subscribed to e-gold-list as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Use e-gold's Secure Randomized Keyboard (SRK) when accessing your e-gold account(s) via the web and shopping cart interfaces to help thwart keystroke loggers and common viruses.
