OK, I got the data (atomic structure and crystal lattice) for them. That was the easy part. The hard part stems from the fact that I really do not exactly know what platinum and palladium look like. I mean, I have find references to both as being "silvery." But that is way too generic when you try to render them. I pretty much spent all day trying to create a picture of palladium based only on a single photograph. It is now up to you to tell me if it looks anything like palladium (I will probably pose a similar question about platinum soon).
