Hi Eric,

I wasn't thinking of you when I made that statement, and I can see from
your message that you are not or do not think you are *promoting* osgold
and evocash, but your mere catering for those things may be seen by your
customers as an endorsement of those things.

If you insist on satisfying market demand, then you should at least force
customers to see your clear disclaimers on their way to buying osgold or
evocash.

For a while now, people have been suing tobacco companies for getting
people addicted as children to cigarettes in the days when the dangers were
not sufficiently communicated. Surely part of the responsibility, and they
only miss out on getting sued because they don't have the tobacco
companies' assets, is borne by the corner store or supermarket that
displayed and sold the children (and adults) cigarettes, and the
advertising companies who created TV and billboard advertising for it.
("Join the club, join the club, join the Escort club." "Anyhow, have a
...") - you see, they are still remembered, decades later! So all of these
companies claim they are only satisfying market demand, but that does not
stop them repeatedly having the pants sued off them for having done so
irresponsibly.

If you were to take that demand for osgold and evocash (and PayPal) and
redirect it through warnings and disclaimers, then that would be a
demonstration of moral fibre and strength that is distinct from those who
sell products irrespective of their merits or benefits to their customers.
