The Digibuck cards appear to be cheaper than Fidex cards to operate in terms of monthly fees etc but note that Digibuck charges for two very significant services (getting value in and out) which are free to Fidex cardholders: 1. the Digibuck cards have a transaction fee of $0.75 on point of sale purchases whereas Fidex is free 2. Digibuck charges 2.5% for depositing gold onto the card whereas again Fidex has no charge for this service. So for higher volume users Digibuck works out much more expensive. If I were Digibuck, I would make a little change to their site. "Zero withdrawal limit" is a bit ambiguous... maybe they mean "no withdrawal limit?" I'd like to point out though that what Fidex offers is an International Maestro Account which has a wide range of normal banking facilities as well, besides being based offshore. So they are not exactly directly comparable products. I think they can co-exist in different segments of the market and I hope our clients are smart enough not to choose our product on price alone. You also made a reference to Graham Kelly's cards. As far as I know those cards are also US based which is a whole different ballgame from the offshore services we offer. They also require disclosure of a home phone number, a home address (PO Box only not acceptable) etc. Full details of Fidex services are at http://e-fidex.com Regards Nick --- You are currently subscribed to e-gold-list as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Use e-gold's Secure Randomized Keyboard (SRK) when accessing your e-gold account(s) via the web and shopping cart interfaces to help thwart keystroke loggers and common viruses.
