I know you've got those big trees nearby, but if you can keep everything (on your property) wet and put out any burning embers landing there and a few other precautions you should be able to keep your house, while if you just leave there is a MUCH higher probability that the house will burn down.
In case the local water supply (pressure) dies right when you need it, a nice big water tank, a generator and water pump will stand you in good stead. It is not only today that the fire danger is extreme.
