I have a bank account at two seperate banks, neither of which has ay verifying info about who I am, one of whom does not even know my name.
No credit cards, as these are a stupid idea to start with. It is simply encouraging other people to be stupid by running up charges, if a merchant accepts credit cards. While I am not one to tell others how to live, I certainly would not wish to encourage idiocy through my own actions.
Of course in the last decade the debit card has taken on an air of legitimacy and the logos of the major charge companies, but as it is not currently possible to tell the differnce between a credit and debit Visa from the merchant's end, and really none of my business as the merchant anyway what the financial affairs of my customer are, I simply refrain from accepting them.
