Oh my gosh that's great stuff! Camels in the eye of a needle!
are only works of art worth more than their weight in gold? i.e. are there any other uses of gold that make it significantly more valuable?
Good question. Any large standardized use would be priced quickly at a thin markup over spot. Does anyone know of any elite limited production applications, like some kind of specialized gold component for holding molecules so they don't react? How about biomedical devices like these?

I don't know what the prices on these items might be though.
