Hi Andrew, Thanks for the info. > According to the Attorney General, this problem tackles the true power > behind organized crime. We have to create a culture against money > laundering in Brazil"
When oh when will governments stop their b/s? I assume that governments and stopping to b/s are mutually exclusive ;o) After all, if they 'really' succeeded with their varioous concepts to stop trafficing, etc., the Western world and most of the rest would drop into a recession that would the make the Geat Drepression appear as if it was boom-a-go-go. They are in effect saying that they want to take 12 TRILLION [1,200 billion] of annual cash flow out of cirulation - and that's a conservative estimate. Who would finance the next building boom, Third world growth and whathaveyou, without the ready cash of organized crime? Drugs, just like cigarettes are here to stay - the governments need the revenue. All their campaigns are meant simply to make everyone trust them and keep prices high. And all that because WASPs can't get it in their head to legalize the stuff, auction off concessions for the production and tax it properly. Together with a decent GOP style monopoly they could all but abolish income tax... but then the people would benefit, which isn't a GOP perogative, really.
