Genuine MLM's do not exist, for the same reason as genuine  
offers of above market returns do not exist.

Certainly genuine above market returns exist -- but not genuine 
*offers* of above market returns.  One can make a similar  
distinction with MLMs   If someone can genuinely get above  
market returns, he is not going to share, or even reveal, the  
excess.

Similarly with an MLM.   Only invitations to enter at the  
bottom level and stay there are genuine, in which case it is  
not a multi level marketing, but one level marketing with  
higher levels existent, but hidden from sight.

Any MLM that primarily sells opportunities to be in the MLM
must necessarily be a scam.
