Hutt River Province is also far from mythical. While Australia refuses
to recognise the claim, the Post Office apparently recognises their
postage stamps and addresses, and the Tax Office has stayed away for 33
or so years.

It is annoying though, maybe it is a conspiracy, but I have yet to find
a generally circulated map that even shows the Hutt River, let alone the
principality. I have seen a close-up map of HRP, but it does not give
you a good view of its location in relation to Perth or Broome for
example.

I think you will find that HRP is in the top left portion of this map,
bordering on the eastern border of the national park, which it would
seem the Australian Government has declared, possibly (or maybe only
coincidentally) to prevent HRP buying land to get out of being
land-locked!

I know it is there. I've met people associated with HRP (who have been
there and are official and titled representatives of the place),
although I don't really go for the airs and titles kind of thing. You
can get an HRP passport, which is accepted (or at least passed) in many
countries, although not in Australia itself.

Some of the web sites about HRP have not been updated since the mid
1990s, and I am aware that one of the sites you will find in a search,
while having some accurate, though old, information, is renegade, as
they were selling bogus titles without authority! However, the following
website appears well-maintained and informative.
