Just for the record, I know you didn't ask me, and I was a little later
than Graham (and a lot later than Joseph), but I remember that I had
been for the previous couple of years (1997-1999) keenly following the
failed efforts of digicash and ecash to create a digital cash system,
when I found through searching, reference to e-gold on the
FreeMarket.net newsletter or website. ... Long before the spam began to
appear.
