So, only a handful of shares have been sold in the second month? Hmmm. This stock desperately needs a 1000 for 1 split. Having only 400 shares it is far too illiquid. With 400000 shares of 0.1 gram there is much better chance to have an alive market where you can buy and sell your shares easily. Fundamentally it does not change anything, but practically it has nothing but advantages to have more shares that trade a lower price. Having a lower share price brings it within reach of many more potential buyers. Another big advantage would be that people can easily reinvest their dividends. Somebody who has 1 share now, needs to wait more than 10 years until he has collected enough dividends to pay for another share. After a 1000 for 1 stock split, he will have 1000 shares (@ 0.1 gram) and every month he can automatically buy 5 new shares from the dividend he receives. Lastly when they have split the stock to 0.1 gram it becomes easy to give away some shares as extra bonus prizes in their casino. Result: the stock issue will be sold out much more quickly. When people buy stocks they are not only interested in receiving a dividend. They also want to see the stock price go up. This stock cannot go up as long as not all the 400 shares are sold. If it becomes clear that it might take a few years for all the stocks to sell (if ever), then some people who intially bought TGC shares in the hope of making a quick profit when the price of the shares rises, will give up and start selling because they don't want to wait for years. When that happens it will be trouble. Perhaps 20 - 30 shares offered at prices lower than 100 gram may not find takers... That's not a scenario any TGC stockholder would hope for.
