The redemption process is essential to the function of a system like e-gold.
Without the ability to remove gold from the system, all confidence in the
system would be lost, and no exchanges would be possible.

Amazingly you could have exchanged your e-gold for gold nuggets at below spot price!
If you had of bid on our auctions this week.

Unfortunately we didn't get any winning bidders wanting to pay with e-gold. We did have some interest from one e-gold customer but he had boycotted ebay because it owns paypal, so we lost that e-gold sale.

By coincidence perhaps, 2 of the winning bidders just happen to live within 30 km of me, so I will be delivering their gold nuggets to them personally. Perhaps my talking to ever person I meet about gold and gold currency is starting to pay off in my local area.

I cary gold nuggets with me everywhere I go and try to buy things with them often.
After all they are the original and oldest gold currency. The strange thing is I have never had any luck in buying something with them. Sometimes as a test I offer to swap a nugget worth a lot more than the product or service that I am paying for even at spot gold price and I still get knocked back. I guess the average person does not appreciate the value
of gold these days.
