Graham's right. To illustrate this, I saw a story yesterday on a line of small cute ceramic statues called "Precious Moments." These are ceramic collectibles with absolutely no practical use. The article is about a decline in their business from $206 million in 1996 to "just" $96 million last year, and what they are doing to stem the reversal (making teddy bears, and selling miniature versions of their stuff at WalMart).
I was AMAZED they could sell so much that almost $100 million was a *decline* in sales, for a product I'd barely heard-of... JMR
