Your point is well taken, but you made one small mistake there, JP. 1mdc does NOT expand the money supply in any way.

(We're used to thinking about fractional reserve type banking -- but does egold expand the gold available? Does 1mdc expand the egold available?)
I don't know really! In asmuch as (unreletaed to its activities) it's a company with value it does, I guess.
Money supply does tend to expand at the drop of a hat, almost anything expands it! :)
