BTW Karl the software for an Online Casino is of so little consequence it's not even worth mentioning. The key things are your marketing, staff, float, etc etc.
I would think that the software would be of paramount importance, lest some cracker rig the games and steal all your money.
insert the word "relatively" compared to the other things mentioned, then John.
Also - come to think of it. You're wrong: say someone broke in magically EVERY MONTH and stole all of your float. This would, again, be of little consequence compared to the marketing costs etc for an OC. Surprising, huh? Thinking about it even more, the float of a casino (online, monte carlo, whatever) is indeed 'stolen' so to speak regularly as a normal course of business, so the odd extra one wouldn't matter much.
{More broadly, isn't it interesting that when we know nothing whatsoever about some certain field, we often think things -- and believe them unshakeably, due to our other analogous experiences -- that seem reasonable -- but are in fact, as it turns out ... utterly, hopelessly, totally incorrect: ? I have made a study of this the past decade, since, of all the many people I know in the world, there is no-one more than me who is more often utterly, totally incorrect about something in some given field. My plan for the next decade is to turn this to my advantage somehow, since negatives are positives and problems are opportunities!}
