Guys, Upon a flurry of investigation, motivated by FM's email, we just discovered a glitch in our software, (now fixed) which was the probable cause why we paid some debit cards late, and paid most debit card orders on time, and would explain a few other things, as well. (This is not an excuse)
When somebody enters a GoldNow order for any product or service, our system auto-allocates an order number pertaining to that type of order, ie CC-xxxxx for a credit card order, DB-xxxxx for a debit card purchase, or DF-xxxxx for debit card funding, EX-xxxxx for an exchange order, and so on. Going on from there, all GoldNow authorized staff can easily change the status of an order. Within each order "list" we can search for the status of each order, ie pending, verified, completed, follow-up etc etc. Where the error came in, within the "debit card funding" list, was the absence of a search filter called "funding needed". So, this meant that my staff could pick up the funding needed orders through the default order list only, and paid them as normal, but she couldn't pull up a list of JUST "funding needed" orders. Ultimately, this meant that she couldn't find any *older* orders, as our system shows the last 20 orders only. So, we lost them in cyberspace! Hence, the delays. Funnily enough, I had noticed this same scenario a month or two earlier, but didn't actually "twig" to what the actual cause of the problem was, as I was travelling at the time. Hmmm, maybe I AM stoopid, after all! T'is fixed now. I apologise for any inconvenience. Hopefully, this will mean faster debit card funding in the future! We value our patrons, and we strive to offer them a good service, always.
