YEs I got a suspicious email about
Subject: Your E-gold account is not active - please log in to activate

Since I use a text reader, PINE, it did nothing,
and I was curious why it didn't list an e-gold account number,
but after your email Andrew I looked at the HEADER and body,
(sent a copy to jay also)
and it appears to be not from e-gold and it is a web page with java so
it could mislead persons.

Also I doubt seriously that e-gold would send
"html" based emails with scripts,
- thats how the KAK virus spread so some
users might have scripting disabled on email.

- best get the word out if this is fraud!

note header has getresponse.com in it,
that is a bulk email spamming program I think.

==========================

here is the internet header on the suspicious email I got.
I did not include the body because it had scripts-
