Hi all,

This is an idea for an Improving Feature.

Cause: Just had a (really quick) money transfer completed with gold-today.com,
and he forwarded the e-gold system's payment notification. I've noticed more
people doing this. Of course, such notices cannot be seen as proof of payment...

The payment notices that the e-gold system presents after payment can be
considered a payment when they are digitally signed, preferrably with PGP.

The web server would have to pay attention to spacing and such, to make sure
that a `grab' from the website does not break to signed text. The PGP key that
signs would have to be available on the secure portion of the e-gold site for
download.

Jay/others, is this a rediculous thought? It'd make a mailtool verify the
payment so that a merchant need not login to the web service.
Sort of a poor man's SCI.

Just my tuppence.
