No, it happens when I take less than 30 seconds to perform the spend :-) > another reason would be if in another browser window (depending on > browser) > you accessed your e-gold account while in the middle of the SCI spend. not that either > is there anything "unusual" about your connection to the internet? e.g. > are you using a proxy server of some kind? Yes. This is probably it. My ISP uses proxy servers. In IE options, I had proxy disabled and automatically detect settings enabled. After enabling the proxy (proxy.syd.ihug.com.au:8080) e-gold SCI forms seem to be working again. > it wouldn't hurt to go through all the security checks of virus > scanning your machine and making sure your browser location bar > and SSL icon appear normal when accessing secure sites. The SSL icon does appear as normal, and https://e-gold does appear in the location bar when trying to make a spend. This error never occurs if I make a spend from within my account -- only when I use an SCI form. --- You are currently subscribed to e-gold-tech as: archive@jab.org To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Safe web surfing tip: Get in the habit of checking the SSL key/padlock icon in your browser and address/location bar *before* submitting sensitive information like your e-gold passphrase.
