thanks for the answer, yes it does the trick, sorry for the newbieness ;)
But, as I am running on a machine with a dynamic ip address, is there
any way to specify a domain name rather than the ip address, that does
not jeopardize any security?

make sure you have the Automation Access attribute enabled in the Account
Info section of the account you are accessing...does that do the trick?
