Relax at Breezer's open air tiki bar or sample Floridian cuisine at the award-winning Gus' Grill. Even though it is the start of the Winter Season, it is Summer here in the Keys and feels like it. With a number of fine restaurants, great hotels, and good ole Southern hospitality, Marathon can be your key to paradise. At the end of the day, you can trade stories with family and friends at one of this area's tiki bars, RV parks , campgrounds , quaint resorts or licensed vacation homes . It's not a good idea to invite open "dissent-o" too often, if you want workshops to run on time and avoid "herd mentality" agreement. Gulf fishing has been excellent with some big Kingfish and Cobia cruising the wrecks and rock-piles.
