I was a pretty crafty kid back in the day. I remember one year when I went out with a hockey jersey, a long wig and a hockey mask for a night of Trick or Treating. I would go up to a house with the mask on to retrieve my candy. I was clearly costumed as some sort of axe murder. I'd then retreat, hide the mask and put the wig on. Voila! I was a heavy metal guy knocking on the same door for more candy. Then I'd ditch the wig and go back yet again to ask for even more candy, this time as a hockey player. Either I fooled all of my neighbors or they were just humoring me.
