Dear Michael,

I have no any experience of 8h continued used of e-puck... An also no idea
if somebody already do it.
For replacement battery mechanism it seems to difficult. It was not design
for.
For recharging the actual battery, you have two possibilities; make a
special pack (perhaps using a smaller battery) with special contact on
bottom and electronics to carefully control the charge the battery. You can
also make this special electronics on top of the robot, using the extension
connector.

Attention, it is very important to a have a special chip or electronics that
is able to charge Lithium battery; it could explode if it is not controlled!
Also keep in mind that charging a Li-ion take at least 1h, normally 2h to
have it totally charged.

Perhaps a idea is to not move with the robot all-time, move some second stop
some etc.. it will increase a lot the autonomy.

Regards

Bonani Michael
