Dear Jonathan,

I post my answer to the mailinglist, please post your next question to it, you 
can just get better answers...
ICD3 works with the e-puck. It is a little bit faster than ICD2 and will 
replace ICD2 in the future. But ICD2 works well and is much cheaper now. In our 
lab we keep ICD2 for the students (large amount of items, no need for very fast 
programming) and ICD3 for the developers.
