Hi,

The code handling the analog sampling of the microphones is in

e_ad_conv.c and e_ad_conv.h

it is quite tricky and close to the HW periphery definitions of the
microcontroller dsPIC30F6014A.

The AD is stated to be 100 Ksps (kilo sample per second).

Thus in theory yes you can sample at 50K.

It is maybe worth to turn off all the rest you do not need.

Good luck,

Gilles

Subject: [E-puck-user] Microphone sample rate

Hi,

Is it possible to improve the microphone sample rate from 30K to something
above 50K by using fewer than all 3 of the microphones? I couldn't see
anywhere in the code libraries where the sample rate is actually set. Does
that mean it is fixed?

Thanks, Jonathan
