Hi
Recently, I attended Embedded Linux Conference in San Jose and one of the
lectures were pertaining DMA Engine. Here're the slides from the
lecture:http://events.linuxfoundation.org/sites/events/files/slides/ripard-dmaengine.pdf
So, the above, raised my curiosity about ixgbe driver interface with DMA
engine. My understanding is confined to the coherent and streaming mapping used
in the driver for dma'ing back and forth data and descriptors and it's
implemented via PCI drivers(like pci_map_single etc).If you have some stuff
that could clarify the issue, it would be appreciated.
Thank in advance,Regards, Maksim
