Subject: [E1000-devel] 82575GB issue

Hello,
I have a quad port 82575GB card and I am having some difficulties
getting it to work. I am using a 2.6.19.2 kernel on a Dell power edge
server that has two quad-core AMD 2350s. It appears that only e1000-8.x
and e1000e-0.4.x support this chipset. However, when I compile the
e1000 or e1000e and then load it, nothing happens. I see in dmesg that
a given module has been loaded, but there is no usual output about the
PCI mapping for cards etc. Also, ethtool reports that the devices do
not exist.

I appreciate any help with this,

Roman
