I am using a 2.6.19.2 kernel on a Dell power edge server that has two quad-core AMD 2350s. It appears that only e1000-8.x and e1000e-0.4.x support this chipset. However, when I compile the e1000 or e1000e and then load it, nothing happens. I see in dmesg that a given module has been loaded, but there is no usual output about the PCI mapping for cards etc. Also, ethtool reports that the devices do not exist. I appreciate any help with this, Roman ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ E1000-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/e1000-devel ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ E1000-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/e1000-devel
