hello all,
i'm having trouble adding 1000Base-LX/1000Base-SX SFP module to my 82599EB
card (PBA No: E68793-003).
82599EB card will not recognize them with error message:
[85510.821973] ixgbe 0000:1f:00.1: failed to load because an unsupported
SFP+ module type was detected.
[85510.822024] ixgbe 0000:1f:00.1: Reload the driver after installing a
supported module.
When i plug in 1000Base-T SFP module the 82599EB card recognizes it without
any errors.
I know that this card only supports Intel SFP+ modules but the specification
says that other SFP modules are allowed (

does this card support 1000Base-LX or 1000Base-SX only SFP modules?
