e1000 (pci/pci-x) parts support ipv4/tcp/udp stateless offload. We support a
thing called TSO (transmit segmentation), TCP/UDP transmit/receive checksum
offload, and ip transmit/receive checksum offload.

our parts are not TOE (tcp offload engine) parts, and we do not have any
firmware.

Subject: [E1000-devel] Network Kernel driver clarification

Hi,
I have a question concerning TCP offload support on E1000 driver. I would like
to understand what TCP offload support if any is offered in the linux kernel
driver (Kernel version # 2.6.35) for E1000 (Ethernet driver). Thanks in
advance.
Regards,
Raj
