Hi,
I don't know which forum to ask this question. If you can forward it to
appropriate group, that would be great.
I wrote a VF (SR-IOV) driver which I wish to get whql certified. However,
there are certain tests in standard nic WHQL suite which are bound to fail,
for example, PCIE compliance, as VF doesn't allow access to all resources
like PF.
Also, test like 2c_recvmulticast (or packetfilters) requires support for
atleast 32 multicast addresses, which is not normally not allowed. Intel
allows only 30 (as per their source code of linux driver). How did intel
got whql certification? Any suggestions?
Regards,
Piyush
