You can try our latest driver from our Sourceforge site (http://e1000.sf.net) but you need to know which driver to update. You can find the PCI Device ID's using 'lspci -vv' which will list the PCI devices in the system so you can see which one does not have a driver associated with is. You need to then load the latest driver to get it enables. Each driver has a list of device ID supported by the driver. I don't know which one Ubuntu 10.04 doesn't support your HW so you'll have to figure that part out.
