I have an 82598 in a local computer running 64-bit Linux that connects to a
number of remote computers, also running 64-bit Linux, through a PCIe mesh that
maps real memory in each of the computers into the address spaces of the
others. I would like to dynamically assign an rx/tx queue to a remote computer
when requested and place the rx and tx data buffers on that remote computer.
The descriptor rings could be either local to the 82598 or remote. The 82598
interrupts would be handled by the local computer and forwarded to the
appropriate remote.

Does this sound feasible to do? Can you point me to the documentation to read
or 82598 driver routines to use in making this work?
