I tried a Debian "squeeze" based Live CD, the same behaviour on this particular "switch". I have not checked for a BIOS upgrade since from past experience it's nightmare to upgrade BIOS under Linux since Lenovo don't support it under Windows. http://flic.kr/p/doTmG9 I think other routers/switches are fine tbh, but I don't have one to test. Don't Lenovo just use Intel reference boards? Be good to get drivers straight from you.
