Since this was submitted this for both 3.0 and 3.4, I assume it is also
applicable to 3.2 and have added it to the stable queue for that.
The original commit is textually dependent on commit
9e791e4a04c08868f02cd579a428a7268492e1b4 ('ixgbe: add support for new
82599 device id'), and that device didn't appear to require any other
driver changes, so I've added that as well. Intel maintainers, please
let me know if either of these should be dropped or if further changes
should be added (that meet the stable kernel rules).
