Looks like you're right. Src IP offset starts at 23 bit and Dst IP at 27. 
Instead of 12 and 16.

Just a rhetoric question: why not to have hash function on MAC?

And not rhetoric: how to balance damn PPPoE traffic?

BTW I didn't had any issue balancing such traffic on 82579. Everything worked 
perfectly.
