Greetings Jeff and others,
I am wondering as I do embedded work as well what FCOE card to buy for NFS
hosting for
embedded boards and the like. FCOE may be overkill but I am wondering if this
is needed
or would a 10 gigabit card be enough.I will list my requirements below:
Must have a least 2 ports on the card
Must be able to support large packets
Must be able to work well with NFS hosting
Must be able to handle large amounts of packets and time sensitivity due
to using NFS and file system demands i.e. Loading a OS image onto the
board over a network
Is able to support FCOE if later required
This card may also be used to host clusters on my own machine for databases
and the like.
Cheers Nick
