Can you open a bug on e1000.sourceforge.com and submit the logs as attachments? I’d like to see the output of “lspci –vvv”, the whole of /var/log/messages, your “uname –a”, and all of dmesg. “ethtool –d” for the working case would be nice, and “ethtool –i” It seems very odd that “auto speed detect” is “disbled”. You may also want to show us what you actually did to load and unload the driver.
