WHY Sports Media Group is a social enterprise dedicated to assisting the
wide range of organisations challenged with creating an active nation. On
the 9th March 2016 we host our Why Sports 2016 Conference - Partnerships
Participation and Governance.
It has become increasingly clear since 2012 that the existing approach to
increasing participation has exhausted its potential for further growth. A
new approach is needed that reflects the social, financial, attitudinal and
technological realities of the time. Only by developing a strategy built on
these realities can we expect to see further increases in the number of
people playing sport and being physically active. - "A New Strategy for
Sport"
Why Sports 2016 will bring together the sporting family to debate the
outcomes of the latest government consultation whilst providing an insight
to how we can evolve with the dynamic sporting landscape.
