Did you change/update the eeprom?

When I booted the laptop today, the MAC address was back on 00:08:00:00:00:00. 
I don't know what caused this to happen but at least it makes it easier to get 
the EEPROM dump.

I downloaded Preboot.tar.gz (version 20.4.1) from:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/19186/Intel-Ethernet-Connections-Boot-Utility-Preboot-Images-and-EFI-Drivers
extracted it and ran:
./Preboot/APPS/BootUtil/Linux32/bootutil32 -NIC=1 DEFAULTCONFIG
