Hi,

I wanted to file a bug but it says I'm not authorized and I couldn't find any
info on how I could become so, so I'll post my bug report here.

1.4 drivers randomly lose link both on Ubuntu 15.10 and 16.04 and often I can't
even rmmod i40e because the system hangs. At this point, the only solution is
reboot or sometimes even hard reset. So I wanted to give the 1.5 series a go,
but it's unsuccessful as of yet.

Here's the make output of the 1.4.25 drivers:

Mobile security can be enabling, not merely restricting. Employees who
bring their own devices (BYOD) to work are irked by the imposition of MDM
restrictions. Mobile Device Manager Plus allows you to control only the
apps on BYO-devices by containerizing them, leaving personal data untouched!
