Hi All I have a question regarding symmetric RSS hashing. Until now I’ve been using a relatively old combination of kernel/drivers/ethtool and I implemented some patches I found in the mailing list to allow Toeplitz symmetric RSS so C2S and S2C packets will land on the same queue/cpu.
As I’m upgrading to the latest versions I wonder if I still need to adjust my igb/ixgbe/i40e drivers or I can control it through ethtool. Is setting the following command is enough? # ethtool -N eth1 rx-flow-hash udp4 tcp4 sdfn -- Best regards, Tal Abudi ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ E1000-devel mailing list E1000-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/e1000-devel To learn more about Intel® Ethernet, visit http://communities.intel.com/community/wired
