I have earlier compiled ixgbe_3.18.7 version driver for X540 adapter in
same 10.04 works fine till now. Now i am using x550 adapter for which i am
trying to workout. I am sticking with 10.04 due to a old library
requirement.
Right now i am able to avoid error msg "ixgbe: unknown symbol
ixgbe_vlan_strip_disable" by using "make
CFLAGS_EXTRA=-DIXGBE_DISABLE_8021P_SUPPORT". now the only error i am
getting now is "ixgbe : unknown sysmbol ixgbe_ndo_set_vf_spoofchk" is there
any option to disable this when compiling to use this driver.
