Arul,
e1000e driver served lot of 1Gbe client LAN controllers. You should
specify what is adapter you use and look for external errata described
known problems to specific device.
Anyway, you are welcome to use last e1000e driver published on
SourceForge site. Currently this version is e1000e-3.3.5.3 and contained
utmost all known fixes.
