I believe Olivier Moïses is working on a visual designer for Wazaabi
that may be a good starting point for one for the e4 workbench. The
architecture of the workbench model and renderer is fairly similar to
Wazaabi's, so the visual designer may not be too difficult to adapt.
Perhaps Olivier should be asked to contribute?

As for Eclipse VE, a Java-based tool, VE team will keep it up to date with
