John, it may also be worth sending a note to whomever generates the 
email...I doubt that someone who's just been vetoed wants to see

"The PMC's comments were: Welcome"

which in this case they may correctly interpret as

"The PMC's comments were: Welcome (NOT!!)"  :-)

Perhaps something that points them back to the person that started the 
election for clarification might work ?

I'm really sorry Stephan. I was processing a large number of elections in 
the portal, and it looks like I didn't make a selection and it came 
through as a veto. I have asked the EMO to fix this up (as approved).
