This is very interesting. Unfortunately, one cannot comment on the
proposals unless they are a mentor so it is difficult to have a public
discussion there.
If the project is accepted (pending proposal evaluations and slot
allocations from Google) then we should continue the discussions on a bug
instead of using something specific to Summer of Code.
