eclipse.e4 Committers, This automatically generated message signals that Lars Vogel has nominated Nigel Westbury as a Committer on the eclipse.e4 project. The reason given is as follows:
I would like to nominate Nigel as Eclipse 4 committer as a follow up on https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=335792. Nigel Westbury has been developing on Eclipse RCP since 2004 on both open source and commercial projects. He was a founding committer on the Eclipse Babel project. His work on Eclipse databinding include extensive changes to add Java 5 generics and contributions in other bugs (see for example 335792, 337378, 307585, 305911, 116465). He is currently interested in getting Java 5 generics finally into databinding, working with Matthew to improve the API, fixing some design flaws, and possibly adding transactional support for models together with undo/redo. However that list is sure to grow. The vote is being held via the MyFoundation portal: voters *must* use the portal for the votes to be properly recorded. The voting will continue until either all 25 existing Committers have voted or until they have been given enough time to vote, even if they do not do so (defined as at least one week). Nigel Westbury must receive at least three +1s and no -1s for a successful election. Eligible Committers must cast their votes through their My Foundation portal page (do NOT just reply to this email; your vote will not be correctly recorded unless you use the portal): http://portal.eclipse.org/ The project Committers eligible to vote are: John Arthorne Eduard Bartsch Oleg Besedin Danail Branekov Benjamin Cabe Sopot Cela Martina Galabova Dimitar Georgiev Bogdan Gheorghe Jonas Helming Wim Jongman Susan McCourt Dani Megert Eric Moffatt Dave Orme Michael Rennie Dean Roberts Thomas Schindl Remy Suen Kai Toedter Lars Vogel Paul Webster Mike Wilson Yves YANG Brian de Alwis *NOTE*: Successful elections are left open for a maximum of 120 days to allow for processing of paperwork. After that time the election will be expired, regardless of its current status. Should papework processing on the part of the candidate take more time than allowed, a new election will have to be held. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your project lead, PMC member, or the EMO <[email protected]> _______________________________________________ e4-dev mailing list [email protected] https://dev.eclipse.org/mailman/listinfo/e4-dev
